Amanda graduated magna cum laude from Bay Path University and cum laude from Washington and Lee University School of Law. She clerked for three federal bankruptcy judges across Virginia, drafting opinions and researching complex legal issues. She later practiced estate and trust law before returning to public service with the Social Security Administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs, where her work recovered over $1.2 million to fund future veterans' medical care.
Today, Amanda returns to her bankruptcy roots, offering personal, judgment-free guidance to clients in Roanoke and beyond. Outside of the courtroom, she is active in her community, supporting animal shelters and the Alzheimer’s Association, and volunteering with her son’s school PTA. Along the way, Amanda has been honored with multiple professional awards including SSA’s Rising Star award for her excellence and dedication to those she serves.
